Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl Drinking Game
"Why is the rum gone?"
We all know Disney can ruin things easily. Therefore, initial expectations were low for the movie based on the Pirates of the Caribbean, one of Disneyland's most popular rides. However, this movie far exceeded these expectations. An entertaining story and good action sequences made for a breakout summer hit (not to mention excellent fodder for the Pirates of the Caribbean Drinking Game). But above all, the reason for the success of this movie was Johnny Depp's portrayal of Captain Jack Sparrow. Captain Jack Sparrow is a fantastic character. Depp brings Captain Jack Sparrow a rock star swagger and charisma that only he can do. The other stars of the film include Keira Knightley as Miss Elizabeth Swann, the daughter of a Caribbean governor and Orlando Bloom as ladylike as ever in his portrayal of Will Turner, the son of pirate "Bootstrap" Bill Turner. Jonathan Pryce and Geoffrey Rush also star in the film as the Governor and Captain Barbossa respectively. Fans of British comedies will also recognize two other stars of the film. Jack Davenport of Coupling fame stars as Norrington, and Mackenzie Crook from The Office does a good job as a pirate with one eye. Two sequels are in the works, so the "Pirates of the Caribbean" will be entertaining audiences for years to come. On to the Pirates of the Caribbean Drinking Game!

Simply put, this is one of the best movies to drink to. It's a good movie in the first place, so you don't even need to drink to enjoy it. That said, a little bit of rum never hurt anyone.

Pirates of the Caribbean Quotes
Elizabeth: That's it, then? That's the secret, grand adventure of the infamous Jack Sparrow. You spent three days lying on a beach drinking rum.
Jack Sparrow: Welcome to the Caribbean, luv.
Jack Sparrow: A wedding? I love weddings. Drinks all around.
Norrington: No additional shot nor powder, a compass that doesn't point north,
[looks at Jack's sword]
Norrington: and I half expected it to be made of wood. You are without a doubt the worst pirate I've ever heard of.
Jack Sparrow: But you have heard of me.
Barbossa: Why thank ye, Jack.
Jack Sparrow: You're welcome.
Barbossa: Oh, not you. We named the monkey Jack.
Will Turner: This is either madness... or brilliance.
Jack Sparrow: It's remarkable how often those two traits coincide.
Jack Sparrow: Parleley, parlelellyleloooo, par le nee, partner, par... snip, parsley...
Ragetti: Parley?
Jack Sparrow: That's the one. Parley. Parley.
Pintel: Parley? Damn to the depths whatever muttonhead thought of "Parley".
Jack Sparrow: That would be the French.
[Before Jack steals the Interceptor]
Norrington: That is, without doubt, the worst pirate I've ever seen.
[after Jack steals the Interceptor]
Officer: That's got to be the best pirate I've ever seen.
Norrington: So it would seem.
Jack Sparrow: ...and then they made me their chief.
Jack Sparrow: No. Not good. Stop. Not good. What are you doing? You've burned all the food, the shade, the RUM.
Elizabeth: Yes, the rum is gone.
Jack Sparrow: Why is the rum gone?
Elizabeth: One, because it is a vile drink that turns even the most respectable men into complete scoundrels. Two, that signal is over a thousand feet high. The entire royal navy is out looking for me; do you really think that there is EVEN the slightest chance that they won't see it?
Jack Sparrow: But why is the rum gone?
